New Mexico

  • Cancer Support Now
    Offers support for cancer survivors and caregivers through peer support groups, one-on-one matching for people with similar diagnoses or situations,
    and a support help line (505-255-0405) for survivors or caregivers who need to ask questions or just talk. Also offers training for support group leaders, and smoking cessation classes in collaboration with the American Lung Association.
  • New Mexico Breast Cancer Resource Center
    New Mexico Breast Cancer Resources is dedicated to helping women living with breast cancer find useful information about the many aspects of a diagnosis of breast cancer. These include diagnosis, treatment options, care during treatment, genetic testing, side effects of treatment, support groups, legal issues, and life after treatment. We are including education events, fund raising events, and links to local organizations.
  • Susan G. Komen for the Cure Central New Mexico
    The Central New Mexico Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure — along with those who generously support us with their talent, time and resources — is working to better the lives of those facing breast cancer in our community.


  • Eastern Maine Medical Center
    Our Women’s Center provides in-depth information on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care of conditions that affect women of all ages. This center will help you be more aware of the steps you can take to stay healthy, and the options you have when you need medical services.
  • Maine Breast Cancer Coalition
    This is a non-profit, grassroots, volunteer-based organization established in 1992. We are a partnership of breast cancer survivors, health care professionals, representatives from cancer-related organizations and supporters. We share a common vision.
  • The Patrick Dempsey Cancer Center Hope and Healing
    Providing free support, education and wellness services to cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.
  • The Support Service Fund
    The Maine Breast Cancer Coalition is a non-profit, grassroots, volunteer-based organization established in 1992. They are a partnership of breast cancer survivors, health care professionals, representatives from cancer-related organizations and supporters.

  • Barrett Foundation
    Barrett House was founded in 1985 as an emergency shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness. In 2006-2007, our shelter provided 20,739 meals, 6,913 bed nights and 1,194 hours of case management for 597 women and 145 children.

  • S.A.F.E. House
    On May 1, 1976, five Albuquerque women met to hold the first meeting of the original Women’s Community Association (WCA), now called S.A.F.E. House. Their purpose was to provide temporary shelter, services, and education for women and their children who were in a state of crisis as a result of physical; sexual; emotional/mental; or economic abuse and/or stalking. Since that time, S.A.F.E. House has expanded its services to all victims of domestic violence, regardless of gender. Services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  • Agora Crisis Center
    Sometimes it’s hard to talk about certain problems or issues with our family and friends. As trained peer counselors, our volunteers are ready to provide compassionate, non-judgmental listening for anything you want to discuss. We won’t tell you how to solve your problem, but we’ll help you figure out what options you might have. Our services include a help-line and walk-in clinic.   • Domestic Abuse Helpline for Men & Women
    Our Mission: To provide crisis intervention and support services to all victims of domestic violence and their families in order to help survivors recover from the trauma of domestic violence. We work toward the elimination of domestic violence by increasing public awareness and decreasing tolerance of domestic violence through community collaboration and education. DAHMW will strive to improve the quality and safety of the lives of victims who are seeking peace in their homes and in their daily existence.

  • Gateway Battered Women’s Services
    The overall mission of Gateway Battered Women’s Services (Gateway) is to work toward the elimination of personal and societal violence against all women and children by empowerment through education, support services, and by actually promoting social change within the community.
  • Colorado Coalition Against Domestic Violence
    The Colorado Coalition Against Domestic Violence offers training, technical assistance and other resources to domestic violence programs across the state. As a leader in the anti-violence movement, we are also a domestic violence resource for policymakers, the media, and the community.
